ALL PRAISE TO BE GOD!!

Here is just a quick update on this past weekends Christmas Party! Let's just say Praise be to our Most High God! He truly had His whole Hand through it all! It came together just beautifully! We had well over 200 studens that had came through the camp once already to come for this Christmas Party! We had some kids three to be exact travel as long as 5 hours to come for this Christmas Party! The day started off with pretty much a regular Worship service but at the camp. We had some High School students come and lead worship, and then another missionary from about an hour east of Davao City come and speak. He did a great job of speaking and sharing the Gospel clearly with little distraction for being in the hot heat and outside! Praise the Lord though 20 or more students came forward to learn more, ask questions, or wanted to become a follow of Christ! So it was very very exciting to see these students step out like this. And then several more come up after words and asked the speaker if it was okay to ask Jesus into His heart from his seat! WOW! Praise the Lord!

Then in the afternoon after feeding all 200 plus staff and other helpers, we had a great eventful afternoon. Tara was in charge of video taping the whole day event, and I prepared a video for them to all watch to close! And by the Lord's timing only right when we had pretty much everyone out and we left...the rain and floods came! It rained so hard for the next two hours, it was like the Lord was just holding it back perfectly!

Thank you so much for your Prayers, support, and may you be excited as we were to see this event unfold only to the same God we serve call, challenge, and change hearts all over the world!

Christmas Party

This coming Sunday Dec, 18th will be the Outland Adventure Christmas Party. This will be held all day and we are inviting all the camps that we have came to Ountland Adventure this past year. So we are praying for big things to happen. We are asking for your Prayers for final preparations, planning, and the whole event. This is a great way to reach out to the youth of Davao City, Philippines! We are very excited! Pray that God will have his hand in the whole event, touching the hearts of youth that do attend, and that He will be the one to have the true Christmas Party!!! Tis the Season!

Bible Studies, One on One, and more...

Wow our ministry is going pretty well. We have started back up with the Weekly Bible Study with both the men and women in the Outland Adventure staff. Which tara and I both help lead these groups. Where the men keep on asking some really great spiritually questions. And just last week we talked about a really big issue being baptism! They were really questioning, asking, and really responding to us discussing Baptism. This is a hard issure since well 90% or so in the Philippines is Catholic!

Also, I am still trying to meet with our local Sports Ambassadors team. I have been able to build relationships, befriend, and minister! It's been a exciting time to meet with each guy separately and see where along they are in there faith! Please just keep praying that the Lord will give me the wisdom to share what He wants them to learn or be challenged with. Tara is slowly getting involved more in Faith Academcy, but is currently having some problems with scheduling and planning. The plan was she would be teaching or help teach a sex education class at Middle School, but some problems have came up and they have given the job to another person. So to say the least she is a little frustrated about this small bump in the road! We just continue to pray that the Lord will show here where and what she can do!

We ask for Prayer in all these issues, and Praise the Lord for all your faithfulness in supporting us through this year in the Philippines!

Christmas around the Corner

With Christmas just around the corner. We are excited, but to be completely honest it's still hard to be away from family and friends. Though we know that that the Joy of the Lord will carry us through this Season! We are right now trying to get our quarterly letter out and hopefully have it sent out and be in your hands by Jan.

Prayer:

pray that we can find and lean on Christ through this Christmas
pray that we can get the internet in our house to feel reconnected with family, friends, and supporters!
pray that we can continue to ministry each and every day!

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was pretty good. Thanksgiving though not feeling anything like Thanksgiving, and it was still very hot. We tried our best and in the evening went over to another missionaries house with about 35 other missionaries to celebrate and feast on some delicious turkey!!

Though we were away from family and friends. We are first thankful for them all, thankful for this time to remember what all we could really be thankful for! And it was a true blessing to have alittle thanksgiving and good Christian fellowship! The Lord is good and we thank Him everyday!
