praise, prayer, and thanks!

First Praise the Lord! For all He has done in our and around our lives already!

We thank Him for safety, while traveling, and let's just say traveling sometimes in the Philippines is not the safest! I mean there were times where I knew if I told first my wife and second my family of nurses what I was doing...they would think I was nuts, crazy, or just plain stupid! But...The Lord is faith and sees us through it!! I am talking more about riding a motorcyle up a mountain for about 45 minutes with me and two other filipino's with out an helmet, and just thinking I am going to die if I flipped off this thing! Praise the Lord all is well!!

Praise the Lord for the whole house situation working out more and more everyday!
Praise the Lord for His presence, and knowing we are here for His purpose though sometimes it's hard to know this..Though more and more He is confirming and showing us His ministry!
Praise the Lord that we got our visa extended with out any problems or questions asked
Praise the Lord for this free country where we are able to attend Church
Praise the Lord for the message that we heard on Sunday which was very encouraging to us both
Praise the Lord that both Tara and I are slowly but more and more adjusting to everything around us, and to the people, and the culture!
Praise the Lord That we are both get more and more invovled with the ministry here!

We ask for prayer in the following:

Tara has a women's retreating this coming weekend starting Thursday and until Saturday...pray that she can meet more women, be encouraged, and just grow in this time.
That we will both continue to adjust, prepare, and get ready for the people that the Lord want us to meet, and minister too. Adjust to the people, there way of living, there lifestyle, and there culture!
Pray that we can build relationships to help encourage people in there walk and connecting them to Jesus!
Pray that we can get moved in and settled coming the first of week of Nov. Pray for a smooth transition, for both families.
Pray that Eric can meet with some of the guys on the local sports ambassador basketball team, and start building relationship with them.
There is a sport ministry retreat coming up in Nov for the guys. Rich is planning and doing a lot with, please be in prayer for this event!

We thank you for all of your support, your prayers, and all that you have done. We want you to know that we have been faithful stewards of your support. We thank you so much for all that you have done, and pray that the Lord will continue to be faithful and providing for all our needs! We can not say enough thanks to all our great supports! Thanks again so much!
